how many hours should a newbie spend everyday? because i feel i feel the biggest problem in IM is getting bored and loosing interest?

Not sure exactly about hours, but personally I think the amount of hours should be equally distributed between theory and practical lessons. I believe if you just focus too much on theoritical stuffs and never do anything practical like registering a domain name / hosting, playing around with ftp / wordpress, writing articles, etc. you'll get bored extremely fast.

You'll learn fast when you try things out, through trial and error, and of course the best motivation has always been results. But of course try not to spend too much while you're in the process of learning.

    Hope this helps.

Real simple. Quit reading ebook after ebook. Pick a method, stick with it, and follow through with it.

Next, stop following links. And quit making excuses and blaming other reasons. YOU are the one following the links. No one is clicking them for you.

From now on, learn only what you need to learn, as you need to learn it.

And quit putting chatting with your friends above your studies and your site(s) that you should ALREADY be working on. That's kiddie crap.

If you don't have self-discipline, and your not grown-up, I would highly suggest finding something else besides IM. Otherwise, you won't get far, you'll get bored again, you'll move on to something else, and you'll have wasted x amount of months or years doing absolutely nothing. And that doesn't account for the fact that I and many others like me have now wasted our time, as well, writing posts like this for nothing.

And you know what? You'll be just one more of the people on the forum complaining that IM doesn't work, when the real reason is YOU didn't work. You were too busy reading ebooks, clicking links and chatting with your buddies.

If you need someone to look over your shoulder and hold your hand all the time, try getting a J.O.B. and working for someone else.

Too many people think that IM is an easy as pie job where you'll automatically make millions of dollars doing next to nothing. Wrong. It's not like at all, especially when you're just starting out.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that's how it is.

When I first started I easily worked 125 hours a week. I did that for over a decade before I started earning the kind of money I could feel damn proud of. My second youngest child was afraid of me because she had no idea who I was as I would go to my office before she woke up and wouldn't return until well after she had gone to bed.

The last friend I had outside of business was over twenty years ago. Anyone can make money online if they want it bad enough. But most folks just aren't willing to pay the price. They'd rather socialize and have friends.

    Sound like fun?

      Bradley and Matt....

That is really great advice. The key is to stop talking about wanting to do something and DO it! I know that I fell into the same trap and occasionaly still do, but then I have to have a talk with myself.

I spend about 3 hours per day on it. Not there yet as far as the money goes but I know that if I am consistant and pursue my dreams, it will come!
