      Tea.

Also I am not sure what the brown liquid Americans drink is called but it certainly isn't coffee.

It's like that Ersatz rubbish the Germans had to make do with after the war when coffee beans were unavailable.

PS: Just to balance this out a little, the tea that we mainly drink in the UK is on the same level. That's why we stick milk and 2 sugars into it.

Tea, I could not imagine starting my day without it. Earl Grey, just a lttle bit of milk and definitely no sugar. I like coffee but I love tea.

If I had to choose between giving up tea or champagne the champagne would go. And I love champagne.

Ok. I voted tea, because I was raised on it (being British) and it tastes best in the morning. If I have coffee, I feel out of sorts all day.

    However...

I love Folger's Hazelnut Coffee, which is what I drink throughout the day. The restaurant coffee is extremely strong for me, but their flavored coffee is usually weaker, making flavored my preference when I'm out. If I must drink regular coffee, it has to be to the weak side with lots of homogenized milk (forget skim - too watery, and cream is too thick) and a scoop of sugar.

At the end of the day, I've had equal servings of tea and coffee... total 4 large mugs.

I am a big of a coffee addict... but tea is delicious too! I drink plenty of both, trying to aim to drink more tea since it is so much healthier than coffee.

I prefer tea daily. Occasionaly coffee. Really speaking both are harmful, but we are so used to it, that daily consumption becomes a daily chorus. It is better if we can give up both for health cause.

It really depends on what kind of tea you are drinking. Green tea has many health benefits as do most herbal teas.

Tea, real tea. Herbs are not tea. Herbs are uh, herbs.

Actually English Breakfast tea - loose tea in a French press (coffee press) - made strong enough to peel paint. I drink around a gallon of the stuff a day.

That sounds good Don! I have to have my tea with just a DASH of milk. Has to be a rich almost dark brown colour.

Ahh, I'm going to make one right now!
