What's Your System For Reading Emails

One thing everyone online has in common is email. Despite all the sophisticated filters, it seems we have more to sort through than ever.

What's your system for reading email. Do you have system you use everyday?

For example, Do you sort first then read? Or do you do it as you go?
Is your unsolicited email growing or shrinking?

Any ideas would be helpful because everyone has to do it. I'm sure anyone reading this thread will pick up something they didn't know before.

    I just always keep a tab with my email up on my browser!

      My emails are seldom exposed. Most everything is done through contact forms/help desk software. From there it's triaged through filters. This has reduced spam down to a trickle and of course increased productivity!
