The Danger of Trust

I purchased an IM educational product and was exceptionally pleased with it. Upgrade bonuses have been valuable and support prompt and helpful.
The entire philosophy was upfront and honest.
In short, they had earned my trust over several months.
Then I listened to a webinar hosted by the company but was a JV. I liked the concept and although the price set me back on my heels (two payments of $547), I bit on it. After all, I trusted the company.
I played with the program for about a week, it was OK, but I realized it wasn't worth over a grand.
I found out then NO refunds! And here's the real butt biter: I found the identical program for $47.
No I'm not entirely a newbie, I've bought and reviewed close to a grand in programs. I've kept a few that actually did what I expected and was refunded for the rest.
I am disappointed with myself for the lack of caution, but I learned "Never to trust anyone that much again."
