  • Why did she have to strip completely? It's not like she's gonna have sex with those whales that they'll notice her underwear.

Plus what is the guy on the extreme left, in the third pic, doing?

    • Sumit get your mind out the gutter, he's looking at his watch...I think...:p

    • He's just filming for, um, ahem...... posterity. You know for future generations.
    • Good thing those creatures weren't in a big aquarium. She could probably cut glass with her high beams.

    • Who would read that, "A scientist swimming with dolphins"? You have to do something naked to get noticed.
  • Free shots for fishes
  • "Natalia Avseenko, 36, was persuaded to strip naked as marine experts believe belugas do not like to be touched by artificial materials such as diving suits."

LOL - Some male "scientists" are somewhere high-fiving each other over their power of persuasion.

    • I'm amazed a human could do that in such cold water - but I can imagine a scientist or biologist coming up with this idea. I don't think whales have a sense of smell (dolphins don't) but don't know how sensitive the sense of touch is for them.

The belugas seemed to enjoy it - but if that's the men's idea of "getting a woman naked" welcome to the nerd squad.

  • Naked women, whales and beer. Could life get any better?
  • .....no.....

    • It's hard to see the advances in society when the B&B of a naked woman in the ocean and Anthony's weiner are big topics of conversation.

  • Thread of the day! Bring the award!!
  • Does anyone else find it ironic that belugas are the only whale/dolphin that can turn their neck?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Why do nipples become very pronounced in cold water? Fourth picture down.

Cold water makes my, uh, well ... I'll just mention George Costanza (shrinkage) and, Kurt, another irony - whales are mammals, yes? We are mammals, yes? Wouldn't the male of the species have this problem too? And, if so, I guess there has to be a hell of a lot of foreplay, yes?

I'm too old to be this confused.

(as Foghorn Leghorn would say ... "it's a joke, son, it's a joke")

  • She's got a nice body at least.
  • why she should be naked...?
is there any other way to do that...

i bet her colleagues fell so horny...

    • You would have to READ the article to know that.

If they were 16, probably....but they were scientists so probably not.

  • This lady needs a trainer. Sorry ladies but she has too much cellulite.

    • LOL - I'm afraid you'll probably find yourself in the minority on this one. A few dimples on the arse of a 36 year old woman does not equate to "too much cellulite".
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Yea maybe she can Google "fitness trainer in the arctic circle". Huh, none. Wimps.

She's a scientist. She's in the freezing arctic. She's 36. I think she's doing and looking well without a trainer.

  • I don't think the belugas care about her cellulite.
  • Surprisingly I'm NOT turned on. Who would of thought.
