Turn these negative emotions into a pleasure.

I'm in the UK. I need a solution.

Travelling. In a motorhome. I need full time internet access.

And a full size keyboard.

Smartphone or laptop?

Deals on smartphones? And how to connect to the Internet? And for what investment per month?

The solution please is?...

    Hi Pete,

Can tell what works for me in Australia.
I am using a NetComm MyZone Mobile 3G WiFi Router. It takes a standard SIM card.
Mine is from a USB modem.
Find which mobile network has the coverage for the area you are in and get a data package for internet use.
Mine is prepaid with Telstra as it has the best coverage in rural areas.
The router is Credit Card size, charges through USB cable plugged into a car USB converter (12V->5V). Once charged can provide a couple of hours internet access. Can work while charging too..
The output is WiFi only, so any laptop, PDA or smartphone with WiFi can be used.
I use a eee-PC, because it has a solid state Hard drive, which is not affected from vibrations. I have destroyed a normal laptop's Hard drive while driving on uneven road.
The screen size is better ( 10 inch ) compared to PDA or smartphone. The price (under $300 AUD) is not too bad.
I'm sure if you google "NetComm MyZone" you can find a supplier near you.
In Australia can buy it from Officeworks.

    Hope that help.
    Alex
