Call of Duty: World at War--- Anyone play?

I love video games. I always have.
I bought Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360, and I loved it. So when I heard that the next CoD was coming out, I picked it up immediately. It is a pretty good game, but I don't think it is quite as good as CoD4.
Does anyone play any of the CoD series?

I have all of them except COD3,as I basically play those type of games on the PC only, and they didn't put out COD3 for the PC, only for gaming consoles. Whatever idiot made that decision should be demoted.
I didn't think COD4 was great, but it was still good fun, thought for the money a lot of us thought it was way too short.

I just got COD:World At War for Christmas and as of yet have not had a chance to install or play it yet.
That's also partially due to the fact that I'm still addicted to L4D and a little TF2 still.

After I install the new COD maybe I can give an opinion .

Oh yeah, I also run a (very small) gaming forum.

Kim, do you have to be 18 to join your forum? My son is 12.

        Shay,
        Sadly yes.
For a short time we tried to allow younger kids in and it was more trouble than it was worth.

Well, I don't really buy any of the CoD series for the campaigns, I mainly play them online. It is very, very addicting. I play on Xbox Live, but I have heard that it is pretty good on PC as well.

You're missing 1/2 the fun if you don't play the campaigns, but for online fun, I'd suggest you give Team Fortress2 a try out. And also Left4Dead,which is limited to either 4 or 8 players at a time, is definitely worth you're time.
The only gaming console I own is the WII,which is fun and I would think the games might look really good, but I'm pretty old school when it comes to gaming.I could never get the hang of wasd,I have to rekey every game to the arrows before I can get anywhere with them.

The only thing I play on PC is counter strike... All the rest of my games are for 360.
      I already have tf2 and l4d
Has anyone played portal? It is in the orange box, and really a great game. The campaign is only about 2 hours long, but the concept is great and the writing is actually funny.

I have Portal too, but unlike my fellow gamers. I had problems with it.A lot of my problem is that I'm getting kind of hard of hearing and I had problems understanding the voice.
When you say you play Counter Strike, do you mean the orginal or Counter Strike Source?
