****. I used to love that guy. I always had a feeling one of the Jackass crew was gonna die young. Wee Man died a few years ago as well, didn't he? How did he die?

That depends on the value if your placing on the word "star." I would consider him a star because of his media impact, he was by no means a good role model or someone to be looked up to. But in the basic terms he was a star because he was at least a little famous.

True,we could argue the semantics back and forth all day, but I would not call anyone a star just because they were at least a little famous.

Currently in some circles,*I* am a little famous,but I am by no means a star in any sense.

I had never even heard of this individual before,though I had heard of the Jackass shows.

Jeeeez. That's awful, but I'm not in disbelief that this would happen to him. He's a dare devil. Always seeking danger and thrills. Sorry for his family. No mom should have to bury her child. It's not right.

Where else would you see a backlash of criticism for someone telling the truth except in celebritydom?

Roger Ebert tweeted "friends don't let Jackasses drive drunk" and is under attack for saying that. The facts pretty much support Ebert's view - and the truth is what it is.

He's just as much a star as any other reality show star out there. He may not fit the popular definition of stardom, but he did make a LOT of people laugh. And his personality recently landed him a job as host of the TV show "Proving Ground", which looked to be a decent show - similar to Myth-Busters...

But nonetheless he's dead now. And there should always be a bit of decorum when discussing someone's death. Especially if that person isn't someone that harms others. He's brought plenty of laughs to me over the years...

I agree. Whatever you think of him as an entertainer, all accounts were that he was a good person. And (almost) all people deserve respect and their friends and family a mourning period after they pass.

The pictures of what was his car are unbelievable. Those guys are crazy for sure.

He made me laugh. I see no reason to feel otherwise than sad that someone I enjoyed died so young.
