It can resist temperatures that would melt diamonds, threefold. 'If it is what it seems. WTH?

    Without seeing if it is anything they don't have, why would they sign a confidentiality agreement. But WHY did it have a chared mark? Why didn't they just wipe it off with soap and water? I mean if it could stand up to temperatures three times that needed to melt diamonds(Diamonds MELT?), then HOW could it affect the plastic in that way? Still, I doubt it could stand the heat. And HOW did they test it.
