Hello warriors!

Have you ever struggled through decades of your life only to realize that you were struggling with ADHD or Bi-polar or something else? You thought to yourself: "This is life and I just have to suck it up and deal with it." Then one day a spouse or loved one comes along and says: "You're not normal and it's OK. There are doctors that can help you."

After your diagnosis and treatment, did it change your life?

I'm just curious. I'm going through that now and I wonder if you have to fix what's broken before you can get on with your life.

... Like what Don Lapre said back in the day: "If you have your health, you are worth a billion dollars."

I'm going through it too. I'm ADD, and PTSD and I find that most doctors aren't worth the paper hanging on their wall. I'm looking for a good doc to help me without drugging me out on antidepressants.

Every day my spouse says "You are not normal..." but I think it's just a side effect of marriage

I used to get panic attacks for no good reason - was on medicine for it for years until I finally managed to wean myself off of the stuff last month and have been fine ever since. It's a relief, although you do go through 2 weeks of very weird and vivid dreams!

Yea, I've been struggling with life for years. Like you, I just thought I had to suck it up and keep pushing. Until I landed in the hospital in September due to a complete mental and physical breakdown. Or adrenal failure and exhaustion as my Doctor put it. During these few months, I had to learn to talk, walk, and see again. I still can't drive by myself and when I do, I'm laid out for 2 days.

But, I see my situation as a blessing. I'm off work for a while and during this time of recuperation, I'm building my internet business quicker than I ever imagined. Working from home is great. I can work for a few hours, rest, then work a few hours and rest. It's nice to take a few months away from stress.

Keep your head up and look for the bright side of what's happening to you. You may just find a blessing in disguise.

      Christie,

You would never see it in that picture. You give the energy of an amazing, positive, prosperous woman entrepreneur.

If you were to look at me...you can tell that I'm very broken. I've been making decisions that are very dysfunctional, to the extent that it is COSTING others who placed their trust in me. Like you, I can only work a few hours and need to rest, and working on-line gives me the low stress environment that I need. However, I still love to get out and work with the public at trade shows, and other venues. For me, the first step in getting healthy is the realization of how SICK you really are.

Well after 20+ years I ended up with ADHD too
but mine was "A Damn Horrific Divorce"

Brandon, good luck with your issues.

Try and make certain you are eating intelligently too.
Eliminating fast food, and chemicals on buns and in cans that pass for food can help.
Some people get weirded out just from MSG,Aspartame and acesulfame.
A diet change can be dramatic in how it helps.

A entirely RAW food diet can be life transforming.
Check it out. It does a body good unlike cow mucus.
Serious, eliminate dairy, sweets and even coffee for a few weeks to see if it helps.

I compel each of you that have issues to please give yourself every fighting chance to get better with your food BEFORE you enter in a no-way-out life of drugs addiction.

    Drink alcohol? Quit.
    Sodas? Quit.
    Coffee? Quit.
Smoke?!! Do I even have to say it?
    Sweets? Quit.
Get off meat for a three week trial.
At the very least try to find meat that is cleaner.
Today the word "organic" has been corrupted by the gvnmt.
So, do what you can to find meat that is raised without chemicals, hormones and anti-biotics.

I had life threatening alergies CURED with a vegan diet after the docs gave up, they would have been happy to do more but my insurance ran out for doing tests.
    my best,

Oh my goodness Christie! Well we are sure glad you're back here with us

War, I know what you mean about "organic" . I laugh every time I hear the phrase "free range chicken" - it makes me think of wild chickens roaming the plains

I could probably go without meat for three weeks... just don't know if I could give up coffee... although I did switch to decaf. It's a start
