I am new here. If I post on the wrong section, please correct me.

My TV is terrible, it is almost 1000years old. But it can still work, that is the reason why I did not throw it away. Meantime I have a great PS3 to play games. The PS3 can play BlueRay movies which makes me crazy. Unfortunately, I have to play movies in the computer on TV. It is complex.

to put blu ray movies to te computer, you must decrypt it and remove the protection first. Then change the disc movies to digital movies.

PS3 can play decrypted M2TS files natively very well. So use a software to back up blu ray disc movie to the computer with the direct copy function.

For next step, use cable to connect PS3 to computer and TV for watching or use DLNA to stream videos stored on your computer to PS 3 wirelessly. Latter is much convenient and cool.

You can have a try. :-)

The 2 guys have given a correct answer! Maybe you want to try to use DLNA to connect them together. It's magic.
