My Christmas at the Beach

Hi Warriors!

My sister has posted photos of our Christmas at the beach on Shutterfly. We stayed at a Marriott luxury resort on Florida's West coast (San Marco Island) and the weather was SPECTACULAR!

It was really gorgeous and I must admit I enjoyed it even more knowing most the U.S. was freezing in frigid winter weather. (Dad pointed out the fuzzy line on the horizon which marked the barrier between our tropical weather and the frigid cold the rest of the nation has been enduring. I knew the rest of the nation was really getting it, but I didn't know it was so close and that even Georgia was suffering. It made me appreciate baking in the sun even more.)

1. Photo #1 is of my nieces and nephews. From right to left: M'Lou, baby Preston (whose head you can't see, is a little over a year), Kevin (blonde-haired 4 year old), Dylan (red-haired 18-month old) and Alli.

I ADORE these kids and spend quite a bit of time with Kevin and Preston -- with whom I'll ring in the New year tonight. (Or rather, have dinner with. They SHOULD be in bed by midnight!) They are just dolls!

2. Photos 8, 9 & 10 are Dylan again.

3. Photo #15 is (from front to back): sister Molly (the redhead), BIL John (hubby to Annie) & baby sister Annie. (I'm not actually in any of these photos, but that really is me in the avatar to your left.)

4. Photos #27-#37 are back at my sister's home with her family and photo #34 is my BIL Joeri, hubby to Molly.

I am TERRIBLE about photos (taking them or being in them). I was actually there less than 24 hours since I had to work and it's about three hours from West Palm. But that really is my family and that really is where I stayed too.

Those kids are just awesome and really light up my life!
