I am not amazed with all the people included in the list. Almost all of them have in common, they simply dropped their academic career to pursue their dreams. They proved to everybody that a person doesn't need to be a graduate student to be successful.

At least three or four are WRONG! HECK, JOBS was MORE of an entreprenuer than wozniak. SURE wozniak did the work, but JOBS was the one that worked the merchandising. And JOBS only got in a picture? THEY don't count though because they did NOT use college. HECK, they didn't even GRADUATE! GRANTED, wozniak FINALLY graduated, simply because he wanted to. He was ALREADY world famous and set for life.

And what of bill gates? NO mention of paul allen? I mean PAUL could have been given more credit for the actual BUSINESS!

And what of Michael dell? HE didn't use anything he learned in college either.

    GEEZ!

No, you are WRONG! Facts can be wrong, but not opinions. The article you are saying is wrong is just one person's OPINION.

OK, so they are saying that because a person spent a day in college that THEY get credit for it? That is just marketing garbage, sorry if I don't go for that. the wozniak/jobs deal is interesting though. There is some kind of conspiracy to wipe out wozniak's accomplishments, and make it sound like Jobs did EVERYTHING, and now jobs is practically a FOOTNOTE! INTERESTING!

No. I'm saying AGAIN that opinions can't be wrong. And since it is THEIR list, they set the criteria.

You may disagree with either their picks or their criteria, but you can't say it's WRONG!!!!

Who are you referring to If to me, PLEASE reread my post! I'm sorry, but a guy determining how to sell something, etc... is more an entreprenuer than the guy writing the program or building the computer. NOT better, simply in a different category.

      Wikipedia:

An entrepreneur is a person who has possession of a new enterprise, venture or idea and is accountable for the inherent risks and the outcome of a product.[note 1] The term was originally a loanword from French and was first defined by the Irish-French economist Richard Cantillon. Entrepreneur in English is a term applied to a person who is willing to help launch a new venture or enterprise and accept full responsibility for the outcome. Jean-Baptiste Say, a French economist, is believed to have coined the word "entrepreneur" in the 19th century - he defined an entrepreneur as "one who undertakes an enterprise, especially a contractor, acting as intermediatory between capital and labour".[note 2]

The HP sold for over $300 million recently to AOL. I'm sure they need TL's links just to stay afloat.

Yeh, like the Huff Post needs me to give them links.

Another astute observation from Steve The Seasoned One.

So that's what all your posts linking to the huff where about?
I thought it was all a plot concocted by the huff, you, the king of Canada, the empress of New Caledonia, and Frank to get me to comment at the huff on one of their articles.
              I really feel unwanted now

Hey Thom, you forgot to mention the "vast left wing conspiracy".

Actually I'm not crazy about the Huff's political coverage and prefer the Dailykos.com and other left wing online pubs for my online political news coverage.

I also see the Huff as what many people on the left call the "professional left" who seem to make almost as much trouble for the prez & dems as those on the right but in a different way.

As far as they're concerned the prez and the dems are not far left enough and that's a sin they won't and don't forgive.

The headlines are always extra sensational and often quite misleading.

...And as far as I'm concerned their positions and how they present them sow unnecessary frustration and confusion in many lefties and also independents.

But the Huff is a great place to find plenty of interesting stories and slide shows on all sorts of topics.

                  They're involved too:confused:
So most of the world wanted me to post a comment at the Huff:confused:

All kidding aside TL, even though I don't comment often on the threads you start here linking to the Huff, I've enjoyed 99.9% of them.
I rarely look at the rest of the site, so I don't have a clue which way they lean and don't care as long as they keep posting articles like the ones you have been linking to.
The slide shows are usually pretty darn good.
