Who Are the GREATEST WARRIORS of 2011?

Bolaji O here - like the hotel in Vegas... ha ha...

So a buddy of mine, Renouf, and I, got into an argument.

This was right on the heels of the 2011 Warrior Live Event, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

(Did I mention that this event was A-MA-ZING?!?!? BIG PROPS to Sam England and the other organizers. But I digress. Again. Stay with me here...)

Anyway. We met some giants of the Warrior Forum. Some real cool cats like
  • Jason Fladlien
  • Mike Carraway
  • John Rhodes
  • Ron Douglas
  • E. Brian Rose
  • Brad Gosse
  • Mike Lantz
  • Brad Spencer
  • Russ Ruffino
  • Tim Castleman
  • Colin Theriot
  • Mike Cowles
  • Tina Golden
  • Tommie Powers
  • (Brittany Lynch, former Googler, and SEO+AdWords Queen, couldn't make it unfortunately.)

The list goes on and on and on.

These guys were accessible, approachable, and down-to-earth.

It really got James and me motivated.
Since the event, we've been working hard to step our game up!

In any event - it got us thinking: We met some GREAT warriors.
But who are the GREATEST Warriors this year?

I mean - who is really KILLING IT this year?

Who are the MOST RESPECTED ON THE FORUM this year?

Who have come up with the MOST INNOVATIVE products, campaigns, or launches this year?
WHO ARE THE MOST NOTORIOUS WARRIORS, LOVE 'EM OR LEAVE 'EM, THIS YEAR???

The list above is just a start. Of course, there are some other names that would come to mind IMMEDIATELY, for WARRIOR OF THE YEAR.

I have some in mind - but let me not "hog" all the obvious names.

So what's your take?

If you had to list 10 Warriors that SHOULD make the top 100 list...

Whom would you pick?!?!

p.s. If you haven't yet, check out the AMAZING notes that Russ Ruffino took.

  • Only TWO females on the list?

I'd have to throw Alexa Smith up there....

    • I vote for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL.

But there are only13 of them excluding reserves.

    • As I see it the list in the OP is the list of speakers at the WF event in Raleigh... not the "top ten".
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • If any Warriors REALLY look like THIS...I'd consider strongly throwing them on the list, too...lol...or else

    • This is the best I could do.

    • What do you mean? I actually do!

People who have been good to me recently:

      Coolaromas
      Richard Van
      Alexa Smith
      Gaz Cooper
      Sojourn

  • Now, THAT's bada$$!

We should ALL take Warrior pics...
  • Aw, shucks. I saw the thread title and wondered if you meant real warriors to which I would have responded Seal Team Six.

But Brad's pic puts him a close second.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [2] replies
    • Seal Team Six was just the team needed for that precise operation...

Brad, on the other hand, looks like he would have (and could have) taken out the entire country if unleashed...lol...akin to a Nuke

    • Are they the guys who forgot to take the body with them? What body some are saying.........
  • Eh!! If I was asked to deliver a list of the folks I respect the most in here, it would take a whole month and would include a couple new users per day - including some rookies with great attitude and solid ideas of INTERNET MARKETING.

Too many interesting people here to list them, honestly.
  • The trouble with naming names when you have a large circle of friends, associates, and others that you respect is that you will inevitably leave a few off the list that you would have included had their name came to mind. It's an easy way to alienate them a little ... or a lot, depending on their personality type. And so, I include all my peeps on the list ... you know who you are!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • Perfect answer.
    • I can respect that, Dennis.

The unfortunate thing is that those of us who are newer to the forum don't get to know who those unnamed amazing Warriors are, though. :/

      But I understand your point.

Since the list is really light on female marketers - how about if you just list the MOST IMPRESSIVE FEMALE WARRIORS OF THE YEAR, in your book?

      Shorter list, more manageable, perhaps?

  • I too note the lack of women on the list. Why is that?

    • Hi judiff!

That list is not complete AT ALL!
It's simply the list of presenters (and some attendees) from the 2011 Warrior Live Event.

I'm asking folks to now add who YOU think are the greatest Warriors, to the list.

      What say you?

      Bolaji O.
  • That really is a good list and it looks pretty close IMHO
  • Am I too late for the Warrior Big Dog Ass-Kissing Party?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • Why heck no Bill, you can kiss this ole Warrior Big Dog Bohinkie if yore feelin left out! I am ALWAYS happy to oblige! Hold on a sec whilst I bend over and drop the britches!

    • Jeez you sound jealous! LOL.

Dont really think you deserve to be a hater unless you can make it to that list.

Cant see you anywhere on that list...so well...u know....ha ha

      So there :p
    • LOL, that was my thought as well - although I probably would have worded it a little differently!

  • I'm new here. So, no idea that who're the great warriors. Bolagi, don't forget to ask the same question in 2012. Obviously, I'll answer.
  • My vote would go to Ken Sar.

  • I have been following Tiffany Dow, Peg Baron, Kay King, Lisa Stoops, Nicole Dean, Alexa Smith and (Sean Platt - dude).

I gravitate towards the ladies because they do bring a different flavor to their business approaches. There are others I follow but these come immediately to mind and I am interested in content creation.

I don't know if any of them are super warriors, I just know that I read their posts and get email and have bought some of their products.
