I think I'm having withdrawals. Haven't been since February and probably won't make it back until November/December! Absolutely love that town! Anybody else like to vacation there?

Have only been on one vacation to LV, but have lived there the better part of the past 25 years and consider it my second home.

That's really cool that you have lived there. I have debated moving for almost 4 years now. Now that I have more social media management experience I have been looking for work and it seems plentiful. Unfortunately the job posting doesn't say how many OTHERS are applying lol.

Just be aware that Nevada has the highest unemployment rate of any State. Also, in Las Vegas it often who you know and not what you know.

You'll also need a sheriff's card before you can get a job, and you'll need a job to get a sherrif's card.

I was there in February too. Loved it.
And everything is so cheap, especially compared to Australia, which is probably why I noticed so many other Australians were there. Tons of them.

Never been but my husband says that if I save up money from IM for a vacation, I get to pick where we go and that is my pick! There are always so many cool shows there and it seems like the perfect getaway for us to go and have fun!

Definitely do it. Vegas is so much fun and there is so much to do for everyone! Doesn't matter what you are into you can almost be guaranteed that you will have a good time in Vegas.

Hopefully I make it back in November! Trying to plan my trip now actually haha!

Sounds like someone that's never been a block off the Strip and thinks the Strip is the entire city. If you don't like it, don't go.

Having been to Chicago, give me LV any day, rudest people I've ever met in Chicago. I used to walk down the street and just say "Hello" to them and watch them freak out by someone being friendly. BTW, not a SINGLE person ever said "hi" back.

I definitely agree. My friend was stationed at Nellis and I stayed with him a few times for extended periods of time. Maybe it was just his location but Vegas seemed really cozy. I would assume Paradise and Henderson are also the same.

Honestly, even being a complete stranger I felt more comfortable in Vegas than I do going to Denver and I know that city really well.

Denver is my home town, and I've driven a cab in both Denver and LV. I felt safer driving in LV. But Denver has a lot to offer too, and I consider both my home. (And I'll take EITHER over Chicago any day)
