Time management software

So how does everyone stay organized and get enough work done to make some profits? I have been putting in 18-20 hours days on this Internet Marketing thing for a couple months now, but I still feel like I've gotten nowhere. Is this normal?

I feel like need some time management software. I'm actually a pretty good planner and organizer. But since I've started with IM, I feel like all I do is read ebooks and watch videos. I mean, I'm learning a LOT. And I'm kind of a nerd, so I love it. But I need to get a plan to actually make some of it work for me.

So I'm looking for a nice desktop calendar that will run on my Mac OS. I want to be able to schedule tasks to keep me on point, plus add to-dos and notes.

Does anyone know of anything like this (that is affordable for the struggling artist types)? Or is there something else I should try? All suggestions welcome!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking at it now. Does it have a calendar feature? I haven't seen it yet...

Just get a simple timer like you would use in the kitchen.
Just allot yourself so much time for what you are going to do, set the timer and do it.
When the timer goes off move on to the next thing and repeat.

Yeah. I've actually been experimenting with the Pomodoro technique (which really has increased the feel of efficiency, at least!) Using a timer really does work wonders!

But what I need is a good way to keep track of things that need to be done. You know, dailys, weeklys, etc. While I can certainly work on a given task for a given amount of time, if I'm not working on the right things, it's still not the greatest. I do make plans for the goals for the day sometimes, but some things would be easier if I could schedule them ahead.

Ha ha! Pomodoro is 25 on, 5 off up to four cycles. Then you take a 30-minute break. I haven't studied it much past that. I guess I'd be even more productive if I did!

    chrishonda,

I'm not sure if this is what you would be looking for, but it's worth checking.

It's free other than optin. It's by fellow warrior Bryan Zimmerman.

I have a few things by Brian (including this) IMHO worth the time.

You know, that's not anything like what I was looking for...BUT IT LOOKS GREAT!!! I'm not on a computer where I can download tonight, but I'm definitely coming back to that in the morning. I can't wait to try it out!

Do you know if it works on a Mac...?

You know I'm not sure, now you mention it.

Isn't there a program where you can run Windows programs on a Mac?

        I thought there was.

You'll have to check on the site, I can't remember if it's Windows only.
Or PM Brian, He does some good, no BS stuff...I'm sure He will be glad to help.

Have you tried the default / built-in Organizer of your Operating system? It's still the basic and available for all users.
