    When the Chinese were building that Three Gorges damn, I was still doing construction.

    Some people don't realize, what a massive project that was.

    They used so much material, concrete, copper, steel..etc.. that it drove up prices of materials worldwide.

    Buying wholesale as most legit contractors do, you always got the full story on why prices are shooting up or coming down for that matter.

    The shortages lasted until a few months after they finished.

    That is one massive project when you can cause worldwide shortages.
