Is this a deal breaker for you? Or is it just something your used to and don't care about.

Like Wells Fargo lied to customers and said they need to pay more for their mortgage, BofA lied and added charges that where not real, hosting companies lie about unlimited bandwidth, oil companies lie about profits and disasters, ect..

Does this matter to you when choosing a business to work with?

    Let's see....

Cell phone companies lied to me ALL THE TIME, and I got some questions to trip them up, so I didn' get a cell phone until about 1998.

I bought a NATIONAL plan from Pacific Bell. When I had my first contract, unknown to them, it just HAPPENED to be at a super regional TELEPHONE company that just HAPPENED to sell CELL PHONES! My seat was across from one that knew the area, subect, etc....

Pac bell said they would PROVE that they had coverage in ROCHESTER NY, and put my in contact with a company in BUFFALO NY! The cell phone guy laughed at the prospect!

BESIDES, I didn't want to have some stupid theory thrown my way! I didn't need to talk to ANYONE! All I should hear is "Sorry sir, a tower is down, we'll fix it this afternoon". I can try that night. If it works, then it works. It doesn't matter if EVERY engineer on the blasted planet says it won't! If it DOESN'T work, it DOESN'T! SIMPLE!

OK, I dropped them, and went with AT&Ts NATIONAL plan! They discontinued service in detroit and falls church. They CLAIMED it was the phone, said THAT model was bad. MIND YOU, it DID work in INDIANA, and CALIFORNIA! I asked them to send me a DIFFERENT model, but they INSISTED on the SAME model. SAME problems!

OK, I dropped them and went with verizon. On their broadband service, they started throttling me EVEN though they said they DON'T do that because it is ILLEGAL!

For banks? Well, I went to Security Pacific. They STOLE money from me, supposedly because THEY didn't microfiche a check! When I got them to pay it back, I went to Great Western. THEY started stealing money, their overbalance fees are HORRENDOUS, etc... One day the service fee shoved me about $4 into the red, so they tacked on $20 for good measure. By the time I found out and was able to go over, a few days later, it was about $100! OK, I moved to a place that was SUPPOSED to be washington mutual. It SEEMED that way in every respect. Around 2000, I found out that they were STILL using LINCOLNS numbers! Eventually, they made a mistake, lied about me, and destroyed my credit. Several years later they went bankrupt, and were bought by chase.

UNITED lied to me, DOZENS of times, so I LEFT THEM! Delta had a huge conspiracy and lied to me, so I boycotted THEM. Later some MORON let them buy northwest, so I am FORCED to fly them.

How about thrifty and dollar rent a car, ACTUALLY the same company, that run your credit on EVERY rental!?!?!?

OH WELL, for now, you get the point...

Yes. Why would I work with someone where I was informed that they lied? That makes no sense. It's like dating a girl who cheats on her current boyfriend to be with you--and then acting surprised when she does the exact same thing to you.

What did you think was gonna happen?

I will however say there is a difference between a company lying and you not being an informed customer. Do we really need more regulation to curb the stupidity of people?

Hell just the other day I was reading an article in our local paper where a woman was scammed for $11,000 before she caught on... Um OK. Maybe its time for people to OPEN their damn eyes.

If a company lies and are caught then they will lose my business. Obviously many of them don't get caught, but there is not enough time in the day for me to worry about that. I research the companies that I work with and buy things from to the best of my abilities.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Its a deal breaker for me. If I'm not doing business with them at the time, I'll scratch them from the list of future candidates. If I am, I'll wrap up my contractual obligations and move on when they're up.

When its an entire industry doing it you're kinda shafted, but otherwise I'll go with their competitor.

I don't think an entire industry is all lairs, but you might have to pay more to work with honest company.

For banks their is good banks, unions, ect..

For cell phones their is prepaid companies that do not lie..

Rent a car places are probably all scammers.

Cable satellite, I think dish network is a little more honest then most.

Car companies, we might have to deal with all bad companies here. Maybe Porsche or Suzuki? I think we will see some new companies that have strong value coming out.

As for Airlines, I think Virgin has strong values.

For banks, they are almost required to lie. It is only a question of degree.

For cell phones, a prepaid one COULDN'T lie.

Yeah, rental car companies play stupid tricks, like charging 3 times as much for gas, charging 5 times as much for insurance, and using all sorts of presumptive, sneaky, and treatening tricks to get you to pay, EVEN if you have insurance!, and charging you an average of $3650/year for a gadget that currently costs less than $100 to BUY, and it saves THEM money and time! I mean SERIOUSLY, they should include a GPS in EVERY car and simply say that you pay for it if it is missing. THINK OF IT! NO more paperwork dealing with it. No more endless directions. Fewer accidents! Fewer late returns! etc... Oh well, I keep two to use in such a case!

Car companies? Forget prosche or suzuki for the average american.

I like virgin. Branson seems like a nice guy. But they DON'T generally fly domestically in the US. Supposedly they DO to some LARGE markets now. I am in a SMALL market. 8-(

I know that most all companies lie a little. Most just do it by hiding things from you with either small print or just omitting telling you. However, if it's a big lie, then forget them. The problem is you can't tell which ones are more honest and the grey area grows as many companies all tell the same lie in different forms. If all companies lie at some point, then how can it really be a deal breaker though?

I would like to avoid all companies that lie at all costs. The sad part is that a lot of people doing business with said companies don't know they are being lied to half the time. If I knew a company lied, I would not want anything to do with them. That's bad business practice...and one angry customer is much worse for a reputation than 10 happy ones.

Well Fargo just got fined 85 million for lying to customers about the mortgage rate they where approved for. I don't think this will change if someone is using Wells Fargo.

BofA has thousands lawsuits lost for customer fraud

On the internet you see web hosting services offering unlimited bandwidth and space, obviously youtube would not pay 1.5 million dollar a month bandwidth fee if they could just get a unlimited hostgator account.

Yet people still choose to use these companies that flat out lie. And get caught red handed or some or so dumb It's just obvious.

WHOA, youtube is paying $1.5million a MONTH on bandwidth!?!?!?!? Do you happen to know how much they use? "UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH" accounts DO exist! I put quotes around that because the technology limits the bandwidth. But companies DO have UNMETERED(So they DON'T care, and you can use it as much as possible), and UNTHROTTLED(so you can use the MAXIMUM allowed by the technology, assuming nothing down the line impedes it). So a 100bt unmetered/unthrottled line will give you 10MBps 24/7 or about 26,280,000MB/month or about 26TB/month. Of course, that costs like $500/month just for the connection, and place to put your computer. BTW this may only allow like 3 videos to stream at once, so I am NOT saying youtube is getting ripped off, I'm just surprised.

If he/she is sincere with you and working sincerely with you then its does'n matter for you. If someone has complain about that your partner or company is a liar than its better to look at this issue from both ends not only from complainer ends.
