    Hey Man,

What country are you in? If you were fired for standing up for your rights... Even if you were only there for a month, YOU HAVE RIGHTS.

Exactly what happened?.. You just say you stood up but how do we know you didn't just get your way or something? Just saying

If it was cause he didn't get his way, or didn't do what was in his job descript well... Not cool.

But if he stood up for HIS WORKER RIGHTS, then yes, thats cool.

If you are in USA, you should receive your last paycheck at the address on file ASAP. More description would help.

Yeah, there are a LOT of variables, even in the US. Until you have a rep or position that is above someone else in the department, the last one hired WILL be the first fired. This is one of the worst times in history in several areas.

Again though, without details, I wouldn't even say that what you did was proper, let alone protected.

btw Lying on your resume can get you kicked out on your rear. Logically, in such a case, I think they can just fire you and say BYE, and maybe even get money BACK! So if someone fought for their rights in such a case, they would just be digging a bigger hole.

ALSO, in some cases, they may have certain criteria you might have to meet. In my current job, they hired PROVISIONALLY. A person had to go through training, and there were two tests. One was several little projects and an essay, the other one one was a long project. A score of 60 or below in any case would get us kicked out, and there WAS a provision to reclaim funds. I believe the later was only the $10,000 or so for the training and tests.

One person in my class came CLOSE to FAILING, though they did quickly fire him later, and probably never paid him since he WAS in breech!
