I'm sure many of you have already seen this, but, I thought I'd pass it along just the same.

    OK, I heard WESTINGHOUSE came up with the AC idea, and edison was AGAINST IT!

    NETWORKS, for micros, were originally built on one of two standards, and one of them is now THE standard. I once subscribed to a site that comes out with new marketing gibberish words every now and then. The LAST one I remember seeing from them?

    WHAT is THAT? It is replacing the now UBIQUITOUS term NETWORK with CLOUD! WHY?
    HYPE!

    MY GOD! There IS a reason why companies moved AWAY from terminals, and to "PCs".

    OH, and about this "thin client"? Well, I recently worked at JPMORGAN CHASE! ****THEY**** have THIN CLIENTS! You know how THEIRS work? They use a small version of windows to use a VM copy of windows, that works EXACTLY, in EVERY way, like your standard desk top. It has CENTRALIZED management! It has CENTRALIZED security! You can LOGON from ANYWHERE! As far as bill gates, you, I, are concerned? IDENTICAL! The software is STILL bought per copy, and is the same software.

    BUT, in this era of big brother, would YOU want to SHARE your data and trust someone else with ALL of it? In this era of instant gratification, would YOU want to rely on a connection?

    How long is the video? I liked it, but I'm 15 minutes into it and I have to go to work... I HATE videos without a control bar or ANY INDICATION of the length. Now, I guess, I'll have to start over at the beginning when I return, huh?
    Again, good, informative video, but I'd like 5 minutes alone with whoever decided to post it without a control bar. Just 5.
