Google Has Too Much Power

Google is so powerful it can arbitrarily break online businesses. Google is so autocratic that it never gives explanations for its decisions. I hope that competition emerges that will knock and crush Google down to a manageable and accountable size.

There is competition, TB - all it takes is for people to decide to use it. Nobody in a blue suit with a red cape is gonna come knock the stuffing out of them for a bunch of helpless twitts that could crush them as easily as discontinuing to use them in favor of Bing or Yahoo.

There is no doubt the Google power is scary and it can bring some down and other up with no doubt but as far as competition, i don't think they got some yet

... I have been saying this for years - and it is getting worse - now they are trying to monopolize phones.

With that said they are also starting to go the way MS did with class-action and anti-trust lawsuits because of their playing their domination games.

... and as I have said for years, I am still waiting for Google Breakfast Cereal which is about the only thing they are not trying to syndicate.

They are getting too effing big for their britches and they will get caught with their pants down eventually.

(but actually their letters are getting more conciliatory although still extremely ambiguous as to their reasoning - I actually recently got a copy of them apologizing for the inconvenience that somebody's site sucks in their eyes and they can't use Adwords - this is opposed to their previous 'doctrine' of threats and banning warnings on the first notice.)

Build a bridge and get over it.

They only have as much power over your business as you allow them.

Maybe you could build one and jump off it.

    Just kidding - I couldn't resist.

      Touche,

I really want to respond with, "that's what she said,' but that doesn't seem appropriate, nor does, "that's what he said," so I can''t think of any witty one liner.
