Another Pop icon kicks the bucket. He was only young still - 65. But was battling cancer these past three years.

RIP Dave, Your music made thousands of folks happy and you can't ask for better than that.

    I think I can now say that all of my favourite singers are dead.

    If anything draws attention to one's mortality it is the loss of favourite personalities and (as I did recently) deleting the last name in your address book that isn't of a family member.
