Okay, folks, let me drop some knowledge on you, for your own good...

Everything is a scam!

There, I said it.

The entire WSO section... a big SCAM. Nothing in there but people that want to sell you stuff.

Article marketing... scam. A bunch of people got together and decided to build these huge websites using the content you give them for free, so they can make money with AdSense and selling you premium services.

Google... scam. They just want to know what you're looking for so they can put ads in front of you to get you to buy it.

SEO... scam. Nothing but a bunch of people trying to get you to give them money to get your site higher in the search engines.

Facebook... scam. They just want all your personal information and to know who all your friends are so they can sell you stuff.

Twitter... scam. They just want you sending out short messages about your life and what you're doing so you're too busy to notice how boring your life really is.

eMail... scam. Developed by a conspiracy between government and business to get bills to you faster so they don't have to wait as long to get their money out of you.

PayPal... scam. Nothing more than a way for big businesses to get money out of you faster.

Careers... long-running scam. Nothing but a series of jobs orchestrated in such a way so as to trick you into thinking you're actually doing something useful with your life.

Job... scam. Nothing but a way for people to control your life.

Food... scam. Age-old scam that's nothing more than a way to keep you alive while other people manipulate you.

Life... HUGE scam. Just a trick by the universe to make you feel special while you spend your years being manipulated by everyone else, only to reach the point where you realize you really aren't that special and just want to relax and enjoy things, and then you die.

So, pretty much everything in life is a scam. I don't know what you're going to do about it. I guess you'll have to make a decision between the red pill and the blue pill.

It's all in the way you look at things. Flip those things around and each and every one of them is an opportunity.

People are often too loose in their usage of the word "scam." It ends up making it difficult to separate real scammers from those that aren't scammers at all. If you use the term loosely, you can turn just about anything into a scam.

It depends on how you want to live your life, in that instance.

Do you want to go through life blaming everyone else for your problems? Do you want to live your life thinking everyone is out to get you and to scam you and to make your life miserable?

Or, do you want to take charge of your life, accept responsibility for your problems, admit your mistakes, and not blame others for your own misfortunes (except, of course, when they really are to blame)?

That's what you need to decide.

Also, there is no spoon. Sorry.

Love the post! For me, the only scam is folks who choose not to take ownership of both their successes *and* their failures.

    They simply scam themselves.

Beware if you are a heterosexual. Babies (biggest con artists there are), see you as ripe for the plucking (never mind what that rhymes with-get your minds out of the gutter people:p).

They often run their main scam so well that all they need is to catch you off guard for one evening, and it's not uncommon for them to enslave 2 people for sometimes 20 years to life, taking you for everything you've got, even forcing you to move to a bigger house, and get a better job, all to serve them better.

The biggest scam ever is beer!! You get to enjoy it, lasts maybe one night, and when you ask for a refund, all they give you is $0.10 per empty bottle and I paid $2 for it full and only benefited from it one night!! Don't even get me started on those who got caught drinking and driving, they're the ones who got scammed the most.

Same goes with gasoline!! Costs me about $50 to fill up my car, it doesn't last long either... Ever tried to get a refund on that?? Yeah, they laugh at you every time!!

ONLINE = do your best to find your way to the pot of gold before you spend your own pot of gold, unfortunately there's sharks who prey on that transfer of wealth and this place DOES breed tons of these marketers/consumers (both good and bad).

From the moment you open your eyes, to the moment you close them - every single day - you are bombarded with influence on many levels in life. In my opinion yes most are indeed scams (politically correct way would be = consumerism and markup) to get you to buy anything/everything, unload your wealth.

Frankly I consider myself lucky, and you should too - because in my opinion the scams here/online are actually easy to spot (especially now with so much monkey see monkey do noobs) compared to the subtleties of what life throws at you daily.

A little off topic but still thought I'd throw this in here: Not a tinfoil nut but I like to keep an open mind - there has to be a method to our madness at the top somewhere and this is worth looking at / translating to how our industries work too.

Be good to each other - stop scamming noobs - educate them instead there's a lot bigger issues out there than a WSO that's a little too hyped... If we were to translate the graph above to how internet marketers are broken up - most never make it past the bottom of the pyramid, just like in real life. I'm also thankful for that first stupid MMO I bought which I look at as initiation/getting jumped in/scammed by a guru to show me what's what. After that though it's rather transparent if you step back a bit (also easy to see where/how to make sustainable income from projects once you're OUT of the MMO race).

Some people put half hearted efforts at internet marketing and then when they get mediocre results, they cry fowl. You have to put in the work to get the results. If you are looking for a get-rich-quick-scheme, then you are setting yourself up to be scammed. You need to look for real business oppotunities.

Personally, I think WSO are an excellent way to start. Great content, which does not break the bank.

AND THEN GOD SENT A ROWBOAT

This guy went out fishing in bad weather, but he had great faith in God
and didn't think too much of it until his boat capsized and he was thrown
      into the churning sea.

In desperation he called to God for help but there was no reply.
Out of the gloom came a coastguard vessel but he turned them away,
      saying "God will help me"

Then from above came this blinding white light. Now he thought,
God has heard my prayers, but it was only a rescue helicopter,
so he turned it away, saying God will answer my prayers.

Then slowly out of the night came an old man in a very small rowboat
but he turned him away also, and then he drowned.

When he awoke, he was in the presence of God and bewildered
he asked, God why didn't you hear my prayers?
      And God replied.
"Who do you think sent the coastguard, the helicopter and the rowboat?"

It's just so hard to know if it's a scam or if it is really help?

Why on earth he had so many posts if this were all a SCAM? lol.
I have to agree with ncmedia's point, LIFE = Debt slave or should I say, wage earners..
That is reality in life, we live and work in order to survive. To survive, we need money to purchase food. That's it, there's no scam in it. Its general truth, we need to survive.
These are just total excuses for people who can't really attain their goals, trying to blame their failures on the system, process or methods simply because they can't accept what had happen to them. Life is unfair, we have to face the fact and keep on moving forward. Or if you prefer, sit down and cry like a baby, lol.
Kidding aside, nobody will try to believe that everything is a scam since most of us here are earning decent amount from this business. Scams would only exist if others will allow themselves to be scammed. As I will use this statement "there are no tyrants, if there are no slaves"

It depends on how you want to live your life, in that instance.

Or, do you want to take charge of your life, accept responsibility for your problems, admit your mistakes, and not blame others for your own misfortunes (except, of course, when they really are to blame)?

This is an interesting perspective Dan. People really do need to conduct their own due diligence before purchasing any products or services.

My advice is don't buy anything you don't need and definitely do your research before buying. If the product does not deliver what's promised, return it.

And to OP I was gonna click your link for procrastinators but I'll prob just do it later.

      Prob a scam anyway.

Finally, to all you debt slave posters, there are some people who wrote about this....they are called critical theorists, Marxists or Karl Marx. Check it out....but beware...might be a scam!

Adorno, Zizek, Marx, Horkheimer...and more. Brain required (that's the scam)

I was feeling overjoyed until I began reading this thread.
    Then I felt absolutely miserable.
Now that I have finished reading it, I feel moderate.

Somehow, I'm starting to believe that I was just scammed into mediocrity.

This is quite interesting. Instead calling it a scam, the right word for that is "everything is a opportunity".

I for one always try to turn a negative to a positive and to see how I can turn it to my advantage.
