Did I get banned by google?

First off, i created my blog through yahoo site-builder. I began doing really well in search. I thought i could get even better results if i switched to WordPress though. So that is exactly what i did. After i made the switch, i noticed that google search was still directing people to the other website. However, the pages were slowly getting removed from the google index because the pages didn't exist anymore. I have submitted a new sitemap to webmaster tools showing the changes i have made with wordpress. But they still have not indexed any of the new pages, including my main url. Do i just need to be patient because i switched from one blogging platform to another? Or should i be worried?

Thank you for responding

Did you try this to check if it was indexed. Go to google.com and put this in searchbar:
    site:whatever-site-it-is.com
    Signature

    Project HERE.

You should use 302 redirects for the old pages. That simply tells the search engines thisPage.html is now thatPage.php. This way the search engines will update their database so the old pages point to the new pages and don't lose their inclusion in the search engine's database. Just look up 302 redirects in any search engine to learn how to do it.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
