Honestly, I could not bear to listen, so I just watched -- in horror!!

The body language in the video made me cringe, without ever hearing the words...

Her body language reminded me of a talentless actress...

And his like he was putting on a show for us...

And the people who did listen to it are reporting some very strange wedding vows indeed...

You be the judge:

Guys, you too can have this one day if you follow David D'Angelo's stuff! LOL

The vows were...well, they said elsewhere they were written at Burning Man.

So that about says it all. I felt bad for her dad having to hear some of that though. ewwww

But they're rich and obviously happy, so good for them.

To each his own - couldn't stand to watch for long but looks like drama king married drama queen so maybe it will work.

I'm not romantic enough for that ceremony. Prefer a "will you - I do" followed by "let's party".

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

When I got married, I would have preferred:

"Do you Becky take Bill, to do exactly as he says, when he says to do it, without thinking for yourself, and without question, no matter how inconsiderate his demand may seem to you?"

Instead, she wrote the vows, and curiously, "obey" magically disappeared from her vows...

Knowing you, Bill, she sounds like a smart woman! God only knows what you would have made her do.

I couldn't watch past their introduction. WTF? Were they putting on a show or getting married. Why stand and address the "audience" for several minutes in the middle of a wedding? After that the whole freaking affair is nothing but a really sad commercial.

As said above - each to their own.....but their wedding looks like an infomercial that went wrong.

I've listened to about half of it and I don't find a problem with it. I like their vows a lot more than the canned vows that are typically heard in a wedding ceremony.

      Bill - true story -

I stopped my own wedding when the preacher said "obey" - I looked at the groom and said "you know I can't do that"....and we changed it.

Don't take my word on Frank Kern having good vows. I think I saw him on some animal sacrifice ritual video on YouTube a while back, or maybe it was someone else. Yeah, that was someone else.

I actually watched the video again because while the first time was painful, the second time around was more comedic, especially watching the poor guy in the brown suit. His wandering eyes and facial expressions as he suffered through this are hilarious.

Yes. Believe it or not, wedding videography is not just for celebrities anymore. As a former wedding photographer, I can attest that regular non-celebrities are now having their weddings photographed and even recorded on video. It's not even uncommon these days for regular people to have a DJ at their wedding reception - just like those famous celebrities do. Some even have wedding cake at the reception - just like them rich folk!

What strikes me is that from facial expressions to posturing - they seem well matched. I think the two of them giving a seminar or presentation would feel much like this video - uncomfortable.

I expect the dress was chosen to look "different and expensive".

Actually, I think she's less than average looking and has an annoying voice (some of her words are too high pitched!).
And btw, how convenient is that she's also a relationship/dating coach?

It seems like a fake marriage just to sell more...

Maybe in a couple of years he'll "divorce" her (how do you divorce from a fake wedding btw?) and start selling products for divorced man, lol

The fact that they filmed it with an HD camera and she personally uploaded it to her youtube was kind of weird.

Also, there's this on the channel, too:

The intro on that is even more cringeworthy than the wedding vows video. Are they getting married because they're in love, or because they want to sell you something? :p

Well - I think they shouldn't. They wouldn't want someone to do that to them, so they shouldn't do it to other people.

Anyone willing to turn their wedding into a presell for their next product has opened the doors to mockery of the advertising presentation.

If you doubt that it is a presell for something else, listen to this video:

I agree to an extent. But I think he opened himself up to a bit of criticism for 2 reasons:

              a) With the day-after-the-wedding seminar on love they held and "inner circle" brunch--c'mon, that's so IM cheesy...you have to expect some laughs at that.

And given the other video looks like an audition for a TV reality show, please... when is the big new business launch is coming?

              b) For years he has traded on his alpha male or whatever image to sell thousands of PUA products. This so flies in the face of all that--it's going to make people wonder if that was a sham.

(And for the record, I'm not talking about whether she's a 10 or not--as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm talking about his words and actions.)

Finally, despite my thoughts about the videos and all, they are obviously two peas in a pod and I really am happy for them. If only we all could be that lucky.

Tracy, it has been well known for years he was full of it. This more or less confirmed it beyond doubt.

I know this thread is old but I want to respond to the anti-pua folks.

The fact he is married would only show that he was successful in his pua endeavors. But what is MOST important here, is that Eban **NEVER** promoted himself as a pua. In fact, when real PUAs came to his seminars, it wasn't rare for Eban to challenge them or even make fun of their techniques. Talking about how they were too extreme for his tastes or not even neccessary.

He was simply considered the "cocky & funny" guy in the PUA community. But if you ask the PUA community, very few if any thought of him as a "PUA". He never said "I am a pickup artist". He simply studies naturals and had his own unique way of interpreting their seduction skills. If he DID say he was a "pua", something tells me he wouldn't have been as maintstream/popular as he was. People liked him because he was the most "normal" person talking about seduction, and he did it very well. When I was in college I watched every single one of his dating seminars, anyone who says they were a "sham", hasn't seen any of his seminars. Lets be real (and no I didn't buy them, they were available for free in our local NJ lair).

The advice Eban gave on dating was some of the best advice thats ever been given to the dating niche. I know because I took his advice, and it worked well for me. And even till this day its become a part of my personality. All he REALLY talked about in his seminars, was how to be a man.

Some people don't like that. Especially men who are already full of themselves. But I've always had an open mind and liked learning about life, and consider Eban a brilliant guy.

Whats most important, is I've been to his seminars many years ago. I've seen Eban walk up to a crowd of women and he is a beast (when he was single). What shocked me the most was he rarely talked about his real world skills. But I still never viewed him as a "pick up artist". Reason being, he wasn't that shallow. He talked a lot about long term relationships, how to maintain them, why most of them fail, etc etc.

The advice I got from him, was about 1000x better than what I learned in my entire psych education in school... so if you call that a "sham"... well then you're just an idiot. I'm sorry but its true. I can't believe we have people who said it was "weird" that THEY uploaded their own wedding videos, and they were in HD. That doesn't even make sense. Who did you expect to upload them? Santa Claus?

People are struggling for reasons to hate the man. When in real life, Eban is the most positive person you'll ever meet. Really makes me laugh. Now let me get out of this thread before the haters come back...
