Magic is not real! It's just some sort of illusion to cheat your eyes and mind.

Well its not magic. Lol its more like Jesus. I dont wanna get into a religion feud, but when I was like 8, i had really bad eczema or something all over my legs. it was really nasty. bumps everywhere and theyd itch. my mom was watching TBN (the christian tv channel) and the pastor said "theres a little girl with bumps all over her legs. they itch and she wants them to go away. HEEAAAAL" and i havent had the bumpy thingys since. just sharing. please dont get into a "God's not real" conversation. that wasnt my intention.

I've seen a few of (in my opinion) of the best magicans and illusionist live. Some of them are Joe Labero and David Copperfield, which indeed was very impressive. They've really worked hard on how to get it all bulletproof.

Pretty hard or impossible to see where the "magic" happens. Obvious it fake anyway . Still very cool.

I think it depend on your interpretation of it.

For example. A magician in a show is doing an illusion. There is nothing magical about it, other than your response to it. It's a technical showcase--one that was popularized by the great Houdini and quite frankly is mocked by a modern audience. An illusion is NOT magic.

Feeling's, however are. Without talking about myself too much, I used to work at Disneyland--a place that, simply, "sells" magic.

I can't tell you how many times I would see a family meet a character and simply lose themselves in the world we created for them. It sounds silly to read, but its true. I've seen grown adults break down and cry when they saw a Fireworks show in front of an otherwise "boring" castle.

It's that emotional connection that was "magical." In that sense magic is very, very real. It's that connection you have with other humans, that situation when you realize you are sharing a very special moment with others.

I've thought this for a very long time. When you get the butterflies you are experiencing a magical moment. When you are crying for no reason you are experiencing a magical moment. When you are... you get the idea.

When something simply cannot be explained you've been a victim of the "magic."

What they do in stage shows is simply an illusion. Your feeling's are not.

I have never had an experience that involved real magic.
The one area where there are reported instances of inexplicable occurrences
is in healings, whether by a faith healer, by prayer, or totally without any
    triggering factor.
What's ultimately behind these healings is inexplicable.
