I notice that when I got to bed pretty late, about 2-4am and I wake up pretty late I feel like complete crap. I'm not sure why this is. I think I feel better when I go to bed early and wake up early. Some nights I can't sleep and so I try going to bed early, but keep finding myself going back on my computer to do work. I'm wondering if I should really make a point to get to bed early and get up early.

Do you guys go to bed early or late? and wake up early or late? How do you feel?

You just feel like crap because your body isn't accustomed to that type of sleep schedule, but if you went to bed at 2-4 for a week and woke up around the same time then your body will adjust accordingly.

So no need to wake up early, just try and stay consistent with your sleep schedule

better to go to bed early and get up earlier, you feel more accomplished, besides wouldn't you rather wake up in the dawn of morning, make a fresh cup of coffee with the birds tweetin outside, rather than in the middle of the day, like 4/5 and feel confused and like the days wasted? If you need to contact anyone online, it gives you a bad head start too.

    Routine sucks.

I go to bed when I'm tired and wake up when I'm rested with a yawn and a big stretch. It's the best way to live. Total freedom allows immersion and when I'm immersed I can sit and work on a project for up to 17 hours (my record). I've gone to sleep at 10am some mornings or just kept going through the next day. Lots of fun. Then again I don't have a cross armed woman staring at me so I'm totally free to do as I please. Ah the pleasures of freedom - gotta love it. Then again...I'm still grateful (at 47) that I don't have to go to school tomorrow.

If you are a night person, bed early and up early doesn't cut it. I can't hang going to bed early and getting up early. Most of my best thinking is done at least mid evening to late night. I'd get nothing done being a day person.

Early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise, well tow out of three ain't bad. I just love the dawn of a new day and the challenges that it brings. Dawn breaks around 5Am year round with cock crowing as a natural alarm clock, and to be honest I am quite happy to retire around 8PM.

Cos between 11pm to 6am your body is rejuvenating and if you miss the timing your body doesn't rejuvenate properly thus making you feel terrible so is always best to sleep at regular timing which is best before 11am and waking up after 7-8 hours of sleep. Sleeping for more than 8 hours usually will make you feel tired and wanna sleep more thus making you lazy lol.
