I've been on the WF about a month and have joined several mailing lists. Some of my fellow warriors see that as a license to e-mail me up to THREE OR FOUR times a day! To me that is not only excessive, but flat out rude. I think once a week would suffice.

Am I alone here, or being overly sensitive? I'd love to see some opinions on what is too much before I start my own mailing list.

Thanks

Think it ultimately depends on how much you value your list. I personally would stick to no more than once a week so your subscribers do not feel like they are being spammed, but being informed. They are more likely to respond to your offer, if your not shoving it down their throats.

    Just my 2c.

Depends on the content that you are getting?
3 or 4 times day is rediculous maybe 2 times a week and a sporadic one here and there.

I've gotten more than one a day from an unnamed warrior so I simply unsubscribed. No big deal.

Thats the best solution. When their lists start dwindling away,
maybe they will get the message (or probably not )

Beware of frequent messages offering a vast variety
of free stuff. All the free stuff is locked to spendy
products on the payment page !!!!!!

I've seen some recent stuff that's free, then when you get there its $1.99 for the priority shipping, and the fine print says you will then be billed $37.99 per month for your membership unless you cancel!!! There are a multitude of words I could use to describe these markets, but none I can use in the forum.

Once a week seems like the max at trying to "build a relationship" with a list. Any kind of automatic monthly signup unless you cancel really chaps my ass. It probably works though- other wise why be so pushy?

Reasonable is any crap that subscribers will put up with before they hit the unsubscribe button. Intelligent is knowing before you exceed that point.

It's all numbers to most of them, out out sounds like an option.
