garageband recording level for spoken vocals
please help if you can..
So I'm recording some voiceovers using garageband and have 2 issues
1) I set the track volume to -8.8dB, save it as an mp3 and when I export it to the editor, he says it's too quiet ( he isn't using garageband), if raise the volume it either distorts or is simply too loud. How can I tell the dB's of what I'm exporting?
2) how do I reduce the background hiss? i have an se1100a mic and se reflexion filter but still there's air around the words that I'm saying.
