Threads getting deleted?

I posted 4 new threads last night with questions. 2 of them were deleted. I would like to find out why. Any ideas?

    As it says in the rules, there are far too many people on this forum to get explanations for why something is removed.

    Read the rules of the overall forum and the rules of each individual forum.

    You must've done something against the rules for the thread to be deleted.

    No affiliates links are allowed, so posting an affiliate link, posting in the wrong place or incorrectly.

    Don't worry, I think we all have gone through that a bit in the beginning.

    It is just to keep this forum the great place it is. Do a little more reading of the rules and keep going.

    You will get the hang of it and be ok.

    As a newbie here, use the search a lot and see if your question is already answered before starting another thread.

    Basically, read, read and read some more. If a post is in question, just don't post it.

    Another suggestion I make to all newbies is to join the War Room. Lots of free stuff in there and well worth the one time fee.

    I was not promoting anything. One was a thread asking what certain acronyms stood for that people refer to as services. The other was asking about what strategy people use for buildmyrank

      If you use the search function here you will find a lot of threads already about using BMR - and about acronyms, too.

      If you post in the wrong section (SEO/link questions aren't for the main forum) that could be a reason. If you link to your blog, that could be a reason. Good idea to search for threads already in discussion before starting a new thread.

      We all have posts deleted on occasion - you don't get explanations.

    There's also the fact that the forum was going through some really strange glitches yesterday. People were getting booted frequently. I went to make posts in a few threads and the whole thread wasn't showing so I didn't even get to read half of the threads I posted to, had trouble posting, etc. So if your posts were in order it might have just been a freaky glitch. Happens. Not frequent, but it happens.
