Problems connecting to WF URL

if I try to access www.warriorforum.com I get a redirect error message on every browser I use: Firefox, Chrome, IE (latest), and Opera

if I access the Warrior Forum on a specific page then I can get to it. Also the forum loads really slowly...

I have no problems with any other sites...just WF

anyone else experiencing this?

Hey Karen, it's nothing personal! WF has been acting up for a bit. No rhyme or reason why some browsers work and others don't. The problems differ for each of us.

There has never been anything announced by admin. about the problems.

I know WF is running extremely slow today. I'm talkin' snails pace here.

Here are a couple of links regarding this and the experiences of other warriors:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...yone-else.html

    http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...-wrong-wf.html

Hang in there. There are good days and bad!

    Cheers,
    Jody

Noticed the same thing today, a redirect of some sort. Hope we're all good.

Chrome is giving me the 'too many redirects' BS - but I am in here using FireFox -

I tried everything to fix it and gave up - sorry others are having the same problem but at the same time glad it is not just me...

Like Jody said, its very slow loading for me,but I am using Chrome and have not had any redirect problems lately. FYI though, when I do have redirect problems,it is with many sites, not just here.

Hey Kim, this is the confusing issue here. I'm using Chrome also, but I'm only having problems with speed here on the WF.......go figure!

It seems to differ for every user - they all have their own unique problems.

I still think RIM has something to do with this....just a personal observation or one heck of a coincidence!

Wow - that is weird how it is acting different - from here Chrome will not even load the page and just gives me (a pain in the ass)

This webpage has a redirect loop

The webpage at http://www.warriorforum.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
    Here are some suggestions:

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

p.s. but the worst part is knowing especially now that I know this is widespread is that one day we are going to have to bite the bullet when it says 'WARRIOR FORUM IS DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE'

    I am already hyper-ventilating.

Pat, I use Chrome, I don't have a problem loading http://www.warriorforum.com/, yet others who are using Chrome have a problem....WTF?! I don't know what the problem is, but there is a major problem/glitch here that needs to be fixed ASAP.

It's like I said in a previous post, the problem seems to affect each and everyone differently.

Loading a page is one thing, I don't have a problem on other sites....here, it's loading at a snails pace, not good.

It is very strange, Jody - verrrrrry verrrry strrrrange.

I hope the Admins are aware of it. I hate to bother Thomas on the helpdesk because I bet everybody is writing to him - hmmmm bystanders syndrome - everybody waiting for somebody else to react...

Patrician, I remember a problem earlier when I posted in a thread asking if admin was aware and doing anything about the problem.

Paul Myers responded with an explanation.

I have not submitted a ticket, nor will I, regarding this latest episode - They are busy enough there.

I am surprised that nobody has come forward acknowledging the problem providing some kind of explanation. There have been a couple of threads started, so not like admin isn't aware of it.

Still think this has something to do with RIM....I'm gonna get my a$$ kicked for that, but the timing is incredible.

Sure hope admin gets a handle on this and rectifies the problems quickly. This has been an ongoing issue for awhile now. As a member, it's sure trying my patience.

strange that some people are only having problems with some browsers. As I posted in the OP, it's all browsers for me.

        it's very weird.

        :confused::confused:

Had the same problem myself the last few days.
Tried other browsers, cleared cache & cookies, no effect.
Seems to happen when going to the main pags first. If I visit a previously visited page on one of the forums, then go to the start page, no problem. It's not your browser.
