Yes, I think this is probably true.

One thing that interests me about this (I didn't watch the video, I admit) is the title "Asian Woman Abusing Dog".

(I'm not criticising the OP, of course, who simply copied the title used on YouTube).

In a responsible newspaper or a magazine, that heading would obviously be changed, but on YouTube, you can get away with it.

Just imagine what sort of comments that might receive, if it were "Jewish Woman Abusing Dog". It wouldn't still be posted up there, would it? :confused:

But "Asian Woman Abusing Dog"? Nah ... "you can get away with that". :rolleyes:

Yes, I know the woman was Asian, so it's "reportage" and "fair comment" and all the rest, but it's also "loaded, selective representation", when that's the first word in the title, isn't it? Come on, we're internet marketers, here: the primary keyword - about such a hugely emotive, repulsive, offensive subject as someone abusing a dog - has somehow become "Asian"?!

That "interests" me.

Heaven forbid that "Woman Abusing Dog" should have been used as a title. Racism is everywhere. I'm "just saying".
