How can I have a business number that goes to my cell phone?

I need to set up a business number so I can answer professionally when a customer calls it. If it's an unknown number on my cell phone then I will just say 'hello?' So I need an app or something that will associate a number with my account that is set up on my phone and will send me phone calls when people call that number.

    Why not answer professionally all the time and be done with it? I'm sure your friends won't mind.

    Also, if it's an unknown number, maybe it's a potential new contact looking for information about doing business with you.

    Wow, that was easy haha. Does Google Voice cost? I have 10¢ in my account and I tested it with a phone call and a text and it didn't cost anything.

      Not for forwarding. You can setup up to six phones with your account. If you want to make calls with Google Voice beyond the freebie 10 cents then you have to pay to add minutes. But basically, it's free (call forwarding, voicemail, etc.).

      If you use Sprint then you can enable it to work with Google Voice very easily. Not sure about other carriers since I use Sprint.
