Many of you bemoan the gurus leaving you hanging...

You've seen the sales pitch, it's sounds awesome - just what you've been looking for to solve your present emotional pain or frustration. This looks like the ideal solution for your needs right now. We've all been there.

You buy the product. And read the material. Oh boy it's good! It's not just good, it's bloody fantastic but...

...one essential piece seems to be missing from the equation. "Oh bothering ball bags, why does every guru do this to me?!"

You very well may have asked yourself the same question, perhaps many times?

Perhaps you now feel that you've been led down the garden path? Your appetite whetted... 'what is this missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle'? you ask yourself.

"Damn it!

I need it right now!

I've invested in this.

I've got everything else lined up, followed the plan, I'm EXCITED but this final bloomin' piece of the puzzle - it's missing! Grrrrr..."

Infuriating? Perhaps. But...

...think about it.

The entire purpose of the sales funnel is first to get you into a state of emotional excitement...

Provide high quality information.

Over deliver incredible value for money.

Give away near all the 'secrets' how to make a bucket load of cash quickly, easily and on full passive autopilot.

The plan, the strategy and the tactics you need to implement...

...there's just this one thing missing.

And without this you ain't going nowhere matey.

Yes, it's frustrating but you know what?...

It makes perfect business sense. Your local guru knows this inside out in advance.

You're being played. And not in a negative sense either.

Look... the guru has worked you up into a sense of emotional excitement. They've got their finger on the pulse. Your emotional pulse.

They know their market (you) inside out. They know how to tick all the boxes. They've put a lot of work into this, maybe 6 months or 12 months of structuring everything, just so.

The last thing they want to do is to give you the entire whole package. If the guru gives you the whole package, where is the upsell?

S/he knows that getting you into their 'venus flytrap sales funnel' and holding your rapt attention is the most important thing in the world to them.

It's about making sure you don't disappear to their competition - other very experienced marketers who might be operating in the same near identical niche.

Whilst they have you right there in their grip - in their vice... they know they can extract from you a lot more money in the future.

You might not like this, however, you've got to admit it, if you were in their shoes and just as marketing savvy...

...you would probably do exactly the same thing in their position.

You work the product into the prospects emotions. You get them to take action but you leave out the one vital ingredient to make the plan work.

This is the cliffhanger.

It's about holding you in suspense.

Keeping you in eager anticipation.

Your emotions torn asunder. You've invested in this, you're almost there, just one more step (or so you think) and the money is in the bag. Ultimate success assured. Finally!

All yours for the taking. Wanting more.

Without this last piece of the jigsaw puzzle everything else you've carried out to date is worthless without this one vital ingredient.

"Would you like a brandy with that Sir? That'll be an extra $497."

Clever huh?

OK flame me. tear the argument to bits.

Agree or disagree with this marketing tactic?

What are your thoughts about this practice?

Best,

Mark Andrews...

Yeah my ex tried the continual upsell with me. It didn't work for him. Nuff said.
