Rawstory.com Harbors Malware
Got this warning from Google before I got to RawStory. I am not at all surprised. Rawstory has displayed a bizarre faith in software that produces erroneous results.
Google warns of malware on the Rawstory.com site:

rawstory.com contains content from Raw Story harbors malware, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.
We have already notified Raw Story Is A Malware Source that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on The Raw Story | America's #1 malware source, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page."

Rawstory banned me from commenting because software they were using erroneously associated my IPs with that of trolls. Then after I was slandered by email cc to several Rawstory staff, I questioned the honesty of the individual attacking my name and accusing me of a crime of which I was innocent, they banned me forever for questioning their authority. For a site that prides itself in publishing news critical of authoritarianism, Rawstory sure is hypocritical."
