Seems that the least healthy thing you can do is to blow whistles on BP.

Does it ever seem like the more you know, the less you want to know? Or, does it ever seem like the more you know, the more you suspect everything you are told?

    Why BUY an island?

    TAKE one!

Apparently, according to most explorers, you can just "discover" one by accident...all you need is a Flag - and a "Holier Than Thou" attitude...

True would be hard to prove - showing that they all had some dealings with BP isn't. I'm sure we could find out the same sort of thing about a lot of issues that were uncovered by whistle blowers.

I see this as another cause meant to get attention where people will pick and choose what facts to use - and ignore any that don't suit their own agenda. If you do a google search you'll find pages of videos and blogs saying exactly the same thing about the "whistleblowers"...but how much truth is there?

Some of the "revealing info" falls apart when you look at the people mentioned. Several had charges filed against them a year or more before the oil spill but hadn't yet been plea bargained or gone to trial.

The guy from Ocean Springs (my town) was under surveillance for a time and was charged along with quite a few others in a county investigation of porn downloads. He hasn't gone to trial yet that I've seen and is out on bail.

Manton's charges were before the oil spill, too - 500 photos of child porn. He eventually took a plea bargain of 15 yrs in prison. Pervs don't do well in prison.

Supposedly Dr. Jeffrey Gardner is "missing" - yet his local paper ran an announcement a while back saying

Geoffrey Gardner, owner of Lakeland Veterinary Hospital at 3003 U.S. 98 South, closed the business Nov. 1, said Ronald Bell, a veterinarian and owner of Highland Square Veterinary Clinic in Lakeland. Bell said Gardner has retired from veterinary work and is referring former clients to...
Could there be a conspiracy? Don't know - but I sure don't believe it from this "evidence".

Dennis - I've been feeling like that for a lot of years now. If you get an island and it has great gemstones to hunt, I will gladly become a citizen. It would also be nice if a few choice states could just withdraw from the union and run themselves. I'd sure be glad to live in one of them.

Kay - BP has a long line of "accidents" - the whistle blowers didn't need to wait until after the oil spill to blow whistles on this case. Some of them started talking in the planning stages because nothing was adding up for a long time before - as soon as the deal with the gov on this one was pushed through - and that's where to start looking at it - how the hell did they get this contract with their track record in the first place? And who had what to say about it.

I, myself, would like to find out how many BP Alaska spill and BP Mexico explosion whistle blowers have died, too. The gulf spill is a culmination - not a beginning.

The mysterious deaths of whistleblowers is not unique to BP.

It has always happened, it will always happen.

Does anyone believe BP trumped up criminal charges of different types for several people in different states 1-2 years in advance of a catastrophic oil spill? So the oil spill was planned - I guess that's the next conspiracy charge?

It doesn't wash and I don't care how they spin it. You have one youtube video that is being repeated exactly on one blog after another. No change, no additional facts, no questioning of the facts. This is why I don't buy into the various conspiracy issues - because the "did you know this" is passed on like legend or rumor rather than logically discussed or examined.

My point is - if you want to be believable... use believable stories. When the "facts" you present or the "questions" you ask can be easily explained, the entire "outrageous conspiracy" falls apart. Most of these things I just laugh at and blow off- but this incident affected me personally and it angers me that some use it to push their political agenda.

There were a lot of things going on that shouldn't have been - but those same bloggers/videographers weren't interested in those facts when it happened. They wait till the story has died down and then bury facts with supposition.

I'd think if you take a few thousand people who have been involved in any one catastrophe...more than a year later you would find some have died of various causes. I hate BP but doesn't mean I'll believe anything because it fits my opinion of the company.

Frankly, the BIGGEST conspiracy was putting EVERYTHING at BPs doorstep. WHY!?!?!? When one of the FIRST companies ,Transocean as I recall, asked to limit THEIR exposure, a thread was started HERE claiming that BP was the one to do that. And MANY blamed BP. I guess because they WERE the lessee, had a lot of say, and wre the primary beneficiary of the stay, it was SOMEWHAT forgivable that they were named so often, but nearly 100%!?!?!?

But there are LOTS of reasons for people to dissappear. Forgetting government political conspiracies, there are:

    1. Assignment of blame maintenance.
    2. Coincidence, since some may be old, oil is dangerous, etc....
    3. Avoidance of repercussions.
    4. Insurance.

3 and 4 might have been for the ahem.... "VICTIM'S" benefit! There is certainly precedent!

"Operation Northwoods" is NOT a conspiracy, just as "False Flag Operations" is a daily, Field Manual of strategy and options...., BOTH are fact in congressional records and an entrance to see how far "The Rabbit Hole" actually goes.

I HATE to burst your bubble, but they WERE conspiracies!

        Wikipedia agrees:

Operation Northwoods was a series of false-flag conspiracies that originated within the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), or other operatives, to commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere.
MAYBE we should revisit what a conspiracy REALLY is because there IS a conspiracy to change the publics perception of it!

        HERE is what dictionary.com says:

        1.
        the act of conspiring.

        2.
an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot.

        3.
a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose: He joined the conspiracy to overthrow the government.

        4.
Law. an agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act.

        5.
any concurrence in action; combination in bringing about a given result.
Basically, the act of working together for an unjust, or dishonest purpose, to do something is a conspiracy! It really has NOTHING to do with law OR end result. It is the mere act whether legal or not. SO, they may have declared "Operation Northwoods" legal! It may not even have achieved their goals, but it WAS unjust and dishonest done by a number of people, so they conspired and it was a conspiracy.

BTW ****ALL**** false flag operations including more than one person knowing the purpose ARE, BY DEFINITION, conspiracies!

The word conspiracies is used not as the pure definition of the word but a side connotation of negativity, synonymous with the statement "make believe", those that believe in ghost and elves, that is the way it is used to paint the person as some nut job, everyone knows this.

This type of "operations" and planning did not end with J. Edgar Hoover, despite whatever the law is.

If you don't believe that, you are in a world of hurt.
