Bullying

Paula - A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stamp on it and really mess it up but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty is was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. ...Now even though they said ......they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bully's another child, they may say they're sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home.

  • Well, Bullies do NOT care about such things! And right now they have a "no bullying campaign", but listen CLOSELY! They basically say it is OK to bully as long as the victim isn't LGTB! There are videos about it ALL over You TUBE. I won't do it the honor of naming it, but the initials are "IGB". GIVE ME A BREAK! But it is lip service ANYWAY! This is NOT new! And the majority of the victims are NOT LGTB! In fact, some of the BULLIES ARE!

    • I don't believe all bullies share the same psychological profile. Some can be reached. Those that can't are either criminally insane or sociopaths.

I gather that some bullies do come to feel remorse for the harm they've inflicted on others.

    • I agree, the campaigns arent directed to bullying in general. This is the main problem when they advertise such tings as they leave out some of the most important aspects as to why bullying is wrong overall.
  • Sorry, it turns out that "accepted" forms are LGBT or GLBT. Sorry. Oh well, I was CLOSE.
