Earthquake Felt in Kansas

I don't know where the earthquake was, but we just felt it in Kansas.

We are also having a major thunderstorm.

How weird!

    That was the latest of em, Dave. That state is still having a lot of small ones, considered aftershocks now, but that state is always having small quakes.

    The closest quakes to Kansas have been in Oklahoma. They've been shallow so depending on how far you are from them, you might feel them. Nothing is shaking real close to you though.

    Good to know. I know how to get prepared for a tornado and high winds but no idea how to prepare for an earthquake.

    It felt really weird having the house shake like that. Hope it is all over.
