All of us get tired of work, or from something that we do usually. Now, I would like to hear it from you on how you relieve your stress..

What I do is I just play computer games, or PSP, or eating....And best of all.....

SLEEPING...

So what's yours?

Inversion! Nothing beats it......totally awesome....especially for stress. It also helps body parts that tend to head south too; reverses their course of action! :p

Check with you're doc. 1st just to be sure it's ok for you. I never did do that, but that was my own decision.

Since purchasing my table many moons ago, I've always said "take anything you want, just don't take my inversion table" should someone decide to do a B&E.

We have a commercial over here where a body builder is checking out a health club.
All through the commercial all he says is "I lift things up and put them down".

I don't worry about stress over getting something accomplished. My doctor even told me that type of stress is healthy.

When it comes to the bad things I simply don't stress. Worrying accomplishes nothing. If my income drops I work harder. If a relationship is deteriorating I try to determine what the underlying problem is and fix it. If it can't be fixed I end the relationship and get a new one.

I leave early for appointments. I'd rather sit in the waiting room for a half hour than worry about being late.

I spend less than I have so that I have savings to carry me through financially challenging times.

And perhaps most importantly, if there's nothing I can do about it I ignore it.

Stress accomplishes nothing. It's just one big waste of time.

So you mean that we can avoid stress for the rest of our lives?

That's exactly what I mean. Most stress is totally avoidable. We mostly cause our own stress by putting ourselves into stressful situations.

For those situations we don't cause ourselves, there's almost always a way to deal with them without stress.

For those extremely rare stressful situations that we're not responsible for and there's nothing we can do to fix them, accept them with as little strses as possible.

At least that's what I learned in stress management counseling I had after a heart attack in 1999. I would guess that I've reduced my stress by at least 95% since.

And for those of you who think I'm living in a dream world ... well, I'm not going to stress about it.

Funny you should ask...it's 5:30pm Friday here and I'm just about to knock back a nice Jack n' Coke.
I'm slow out of the gate tonight I'm usually on my third by now.
