So, I clicked through to this Indian web design site. Their work is not half bad (some of them are pretty good actually). I mean, they aren't brilliant but the sites look quite professional. But, I LOLed reading the Company Profile. Here you go-

Could anyone explain to me what it means?

      What translation service gives out words like "abjurer" and "arduous"? I think someone wrote it and used Word's thesaurus to replace some of the words.

      I'm thinking of writing a better version of it and sending to them. I claim to be no expert but hey, I can do better than that! Anyone can do better than that!

        I think that you should, Sumit.

    Indians are actually TAUGHT an odd sort of English that is NOTHING like American, British, australian, new zealand, etc... It is almost like an old berlitz english book I read that was targeted towards spanish speakers and I thought THAT is how they get that accent!!!!!!!

    So WHO KNOWS? Maybe that IS "proper" english for an indian there. Most that I talk to have been through the university, and have been working here for a while.

    But with the odd word choice, unusual usage, odd metaphores, and apparently translation of some expressions, it IS quite funny.

    I almost PINE for the time when I remember, perhaps 42 years ago about wondering what a japanese company meant when they said "watertight antenna"! But THIS was FUNNIER!

    They OBVIOUSLY wat to sound POSH when they say things like: "Our mission is chic and voguish in the area of Website Development,"

    I agree with khudoes here!

    Yeah, we are taught some rather unusual words and phrases but nothing so outrageous!

    The funny thing is I sent this guy a rewrite I did of the text. I don't say it was perfect, but it sure did make more sense than this. But, he didn't care to put it up. Some people just don't wanna change...

      Yeah, I didn't make it clearer, but the reason why I mentioned that most I talk to have been here a while is because they have had the chance to learn a bit, and tone such things down. STILL, some REALLY odd speech is SO common here that you KNOW they learned it that way.

      So you never know. I just know some odd things almost every indian says, that others DON'T. Luckily, most is just strange, or off, but not as laughable as some things on that site. It is almost like those shows where some kid hears a lot of supposedly smart people using BIG words, and copies them incorrectly. Or it is like madlibs! Recent Submitted Glibs

      On the other hand, the average person, in the us, from india speaks indian languages a LOT! They tend to work around other indians, especially others that speak the same language. EVEN at work, if they have meetings or help one another, they are often not speaking English. So they wouldn't get a lot of immersion and correction, even if someone cared to take the time.

      As for why they didn't accept your post? Maybe they copied from an "authoritative" source. Maybe YOURS doesn't sound right to them. Who knows. Just don't hire them for programming(unless you lay things out CLEARLY), or text on websites, or SEO.

      BTW LUCKILY the US isn't so sensitive, but SOME countries will get offended if you use the wrong color, display the wrong graphic, etc... So maybe they should be careful THERE also!
