I am new to this forum and somewhat to marketing. I am in a trial with a service called Doba. Any advice or comments regarding this service?

I plan to use these products with 1. Ebay and 2. E-Commerce store. Currently I am participating in the Niche Blueprint

  • It is a good starting point to learn drop shipping and to test products for marketability. However, the prices are expensive compared to what you can get by dealing direct with the individual vendors in bulk. Don't try to sell them on eBay, or on a website to make any money. You will lose. The big hitters are all buying direct.

    • Paul,
Thanks for the response. Any thoughts on worldwidebrands?

      Thanks

    • This is true. I made the mistake of signing up for Doba for a year and a half and I'm stuck. I can't sell those expensive products anywhere online. It looks like a legit company but their prices are too high if you're looking to make money online. It takes a special craft to be able to pin point that one product out of a billion that you can make tons of money with. I never broke the code.

You'll be better off looking for a liquidator instead of a wholesaler to buy your products from and sell online.
  • I agree with myob. I have done tons of researches and plenty of spreadsheets! I have yet to find any dropship services that can provide you with any possible profits, if you are considering to sell the items through ebay or similar avena.

Still trying to see where to locate the possible individual vendor!
  • I never said that i am making significant profits with drop shipping but i am making money from it. I find it hard to move from one niche to another. For now, i'm focusing on a single product. After a few months, i'll see if i have to move on to another niche or stay with what i have right now. No problem, i never asked you to believe me. I'm also so used to people claiming they're experts on this and that. We believe what we want to believe. : )

    • Thank you for your most candid response, morwanneg, and for removing some of the hype. Could 1 cent net profit per sale mean you are making money at it? As you said you never have claimed to be making any significant profits. Sorry to be so hard on you, but it is not fair to the OP to have been exposed to all the hype surrounding this niche. As it turns out, my disbelief is founded on facts based on experience and now your own admission.

Just as I had said from the beginning, worldwidebrands is a topnotch course to learn, and to find sources. But you have to admit the sales page makes it look easy for beginners. In reality, to make any significant profits, you have to buy direct in quantity. You will lose by trying to compete with the big boys on ebay or on a website if you're going to dropship using worldwideproducts or any other dropshipping directory. Most of these products are widespread on the internet and prices are hard to beat.
