What I Don't Like About Google Chrome

I love Google Chrome except for one thing.

When you copy and paste a web page into a forum post when using Firefox 8,
it pastes exactly as it looks into the post.

When you copy and paste using Chrome, all you get is the text and lose all the
formatting.

Because of this, I had to download Firefox (something I didn't want to do) just
to perform this function.

Why can't Chrome give us something simple like that?

I mean is it so much to ask for?

I've also notice this with chrome and firefox is a little "buggy" at the moment.

    Whats opera like?

  • Opera is fast - if you are a scanner of pages like I am...it is almost too fast!
I'm not crazy about the bookmark or download process with Opera yet though - there are some quirks...
and it does not show a video onscreen until you click on it...but other than that...not bad.

    As for Chrome - 2 words - SHOCKWAVE FLASH!...FIX IT! (ok - that's 4 words :rolleyes

Ah ... I'm not the only person who's had this problem, then?

I normally use Firefox anyway, but I tend (for reasons unrelated to this discussion) to use Chrome for the first hour or so of each day. And I have to open Firefox as well, to do exactly what you're talking about. And it's a real pain in the neck. I was wondering if there's some way round it? Some "Chrome trick" I don't know (that's the normal explanation when I can't do something).
