Why Didn't I Think Of That?

I thought this is such a clever little idea I just had to share it for the Warrior Kids...
(cool for a holiday treat - or any time )

Bake cupcakes directly in ice-cream cones – so much more fun and easier for kids to eat. I'm trying this!
update:Bake your cupcakes directly in the ice cream cones. Fill 24 flat-bottom cones two-thirds full with cake batter. Place the cones in a high-sided 9-by-13-inch baking pan and bake in two batches at 325° F for 30 minutes. Let cool, then frost with two 16-ounce cans of frosting. You can have your cake and eat its holder, too.
(excuse me if I'm a bit daft, this may be "old news" to some, but I'd never seen it before)

*Thom's link below goes to a google page with several recipe idea links on this...

If anyone has any other clever time savers, or clever ideas - About anything - just put them in here...

We'll make this a "Why Didn't I Think of That ?" Thread -

    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • It DOES SEEM nice, but how do you ut the batter in the cone without moisture seeping in? How do you cook it?
