Is "young and fabulous" a popular term? What is it commonly associated with?

    Well...it used to be associated with me...:p
    now it's more like "old and mediocre"


    Seriously though,
    That seems like a saying that I personally would associate with Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's timeline...late 50's, early 60's.

    Seems like I remember that saying from a long time ago...

    Wow I went to look it up...because I seem to remember it being a saying..this thread is already on page two of Google, out of a million and half results (in parenthesis)
    amazing. Considering the thread has only been here for few minutes..that's impressive.

    People still use the term...but I could swear it used to be phrase, like cool or groovy...etc..

    Course I could be wrong...was once in '73, ya know..

    Can't seem to find a lot...'young, fabulous and broke' returns a lot...must be the new version, and yea I'm serious.

      I still haven't figured out what the expression means, what it usually refers to. Internet searches haven't helped.

      Let's put it this way: What would you imagine that a website about "young and fabulous" be about? What would a magazine of that title be about?
