Im just wondering, what is your thought on this show? I think the American version is "American Inventor".

Like? Dislike? Is the business world that ruthless?

    I have seen it (both versions) and I don't really care for it.

    I am just not a big fan of watching people grovel for money. :rolleyes:

    I've not seen the US version - just the British version and really like it. Though I do sometimes mute the show since the dragon's can be a bit draconian. Having sat through various speed dating situations and also presented to VCs I can empathise with those Entrepreneurs. I can also feel for the dragons too when they meet folks who are obviously not entrepreneurs or just after a life style business instead of a gazelle type business.

    I'll have to go find when/where the us version is shown....

      Yeah it can be quite scary just sitting hoping the guy/girl is successful. I watch it for trying to get ideas, making money online is great but if i can also make money offline with a great idea at the same time... then its just fantastic. There probably aren't enough hours in the day for me to do both though lol.

      But yeah , they are very ruthless. I do agree some people will ebdn over backwards for money, for me its just a tool lol. Its just needed to get things done and enjoy life.

      A couple hundred years back it was gold n silver coins, even further back it was live stock and other off the land type goods.
      In the future well...im thinking it will all be digital lol and solid cash itself might dissapear lol but thats just my crazy idea.

        Excellent program, tivo it every week, and yes the business world can be more brutal that the dragons den. This is by far my favorite TV show, and i look forward too it every week.
