who do you trust for YOUR Solo ad?

First of all apologies as I don't see where else to ask this question so here goes;
I am ready to try a few solo ads - and I have been all over the JV section . . . one question, who the heck to trust??
1. I see lots of complaints after warriors use a Solo ad - so let me ask you who do you trust?
2. Have you recently done a solo ad here? What were your results? From what I am reading there are not too many successful deals and some outright scams to watch out for.
Any suggestions I would be very grateful . . .
