That is nuts. I used to work for a guy who had a bull. One Friday after we got paid, he taped a $100 bill to its horn and said if I would just get it, I could keep it.

I watched him pet the bull and everything. But I still didnt get anywhere near it.. lol I already had my paycheck for that week, 100 bux wasnt worth the risk.

I guess if you study it your entire life then sure, but a bull is a huge creature.. No thanks! haha

Seems pretty surprising, but I've seen many instances where Karate practitioners would break 20 bricks stacked up and such.

Problem is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo practitioner would be able to take him down pretty easily. You can't hurt what you can't hit.

He chopped off at least 98 horns in a FAIR(such as they are) fight? I DOUBT IT! He would have to have perfect aim, and somehow hit them hard enough and square enough to break them without getting hit, and even a CUT could end up FATAL! Considering what bulls do, and the damage and destruction they are known to do, that seems unlikely. And by FAIR fight, I mean with the bull free, and healthy, and awake, and upset, and oyama having only his hands, and no heavy clothing, or anything to drape on the bull or grab it with.

And they say he was DISTRAUGHT at his adopted land losing the war? He wasn't upset at the sucker punches japan gave? Give me a break, they attacked with jury rigged missiles while people may have been relaxing! And the Americans thought they were SAFE there! The japanese had only 4 ways to attack. One was EXPENSIVE! One was unreliable. One was thought impossible. And one was something nobody figured they would do, and probably didn't even think of. They tried THAT one, and the expensive one. Had they not done that, Japan might not have had to deal with the two real atomic attacks made.

And WHY would he be upset at killing a cowardly bully that HAPPENED to have a wife and kids. BTW there are several ways to kill a person with no special training or strength. Why should he blame or single out karate? and to single THAT out as the goal of karate contradicts his statement that it "perfects character". Isn't the ULTIMATE goal to avoid confrontation merely KNOWING that you could cause severe injury?

I think cruelty to animals is wrong, and it breaks my heart to hear these kind of stories. If this guy was really good at martial arts, he should have entered the UFC. Harming animals doesn't make you a strong person.
