Raisin Hell

I was trying to find good raisins for my toddler during Christmas since he'd gobbled up all we had. The kind of raisin he likes is Newman's Own Organic Raisins but the only store that sells them in our area was not open during the holiday season. So I bought one brand of raisin after another for him -- organic and non-organic -- but he hated all of them. An organic brand from Safeway was especially nasty.

Finally the store that sells Newman's Own Organics Raisins reopened and I bought five boxes of it. Not only are the raisins really tasty with the bonus of being organic, but profits generated from their sales go to charity. Now my toddler is happily gobbling up raisins again now that we have the kind he likes. He sometimes likes eating them with plain yogurt:

  • I always admired Paul for his work and charitable causes...he turned out to be a pretty nice raisin himself!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I drink lots of Newman's Grape juice.

  • I fondly remember Newman every time I use this line for someone going just a little too overboard...
    YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
  • I like his salad dressings myself. On my way to the store now - I'm going to look for those raisins. I love raisins.
  • Raisins - ooo what a good idea - use them as sweetener for plain yogurt. Your toddler is brilliant!

    Thank him for the idea.
