Hi all,
I have been trying to figure out a way to use image metadata to get my websites details to go viral via image sharing sites, but I can't figure out how to do it and it is wrecking my head!
Anyone else ever attempt this? Or is it a stupid idea?

If I had a search engine, and looked at the data, I wouldn't use it to link to a 5th party site.

For purposes of this, I figure:

    1. Search Engine indexing
    2. Visitor
    3. Site visitor is visiting
    4. Sites linked to by #3
    5. Random pictures, etc...

That said, if the picture had metadata like "Teddy bears for sale", and was used in a link to a site about teddy bears, THEN that 5th party is really 4th party and the term "teddy bears for sale" may be given more weight towards that site.

Thanks Steve.. that is the first time I have heard of 5th generation site - can you explain that please? I believe G loves images and video and gives them a lot of weight, so do you think the idea has any merit at all to work the way you mention with the teddy bear example?

I was using it to illustrate a party(different entity) owning a portion. Basically, I doubt search engines would use address info found in a picture, or a none displayed item, for that matter. But they could use that as some key to an anchors address.
