I stay a lot online but I think this is not a good idea. Balance is the key.

I am online 15-20 hours a day but you gotta have some kind of routine so you don't stay on your disk for so long. Just like what I do, I reward myself a couple of minutes break every 2-4 hours of work. Example if I work for 2 hours = 10 minutes break. I can combine all my breaks or use them every now and then. This way I dont lose focus on my work.

If done properly and answer email doesn't count, I can get away with 3 quality hours and feel accomplished.

  • About 6 or 8. Depends on my goals for that day. As long as as I feel productive.

  • I normally take 9 hours a day. I don't intend to take longer than that because I strongly feel that I need time to relax from being on the screen and also to engage in other activities. It is healthier that way and I believe it should be so with the rest. Money is good but unless you are keen it can entice you to remain glued on screen beyond reasonable times.

I work online so spend 7-8 hours a day online at work. Then when I come home probably spend another 2 hours online doing personal projects.

I'm on about 10 hours a day, but not straight through. Gotta take breaks or I get burned out and become unproductive. Does anyone do all nighters? I used to do this and am thinking of moving back toward sleeping in, than working, then doing other stuff, then working in the evening.

I used to spend all day on the computer and online.

However, eyesight trouble now limits that and I also found that I have cut down my "surfing the net" considerably as well.

Most of the day really... I'm probably on my PC off and on for a total of 10-12 hours a day. If I'm not at my PC I've usually got my netbook or tablet with me to check email or work on small projects. I've actually been working hard to make sure I don't miss my workout time and get up and move around off and on.

I make sure I get up at least once an hour and walk to the kitchen to drink some water or something just so I'm not sitting all day. It has helped a lot actually. I also schedule when I'll do my workout and house chores so about every 3 hours I have a more extended time away from the computer.

Say 4-6 hours. The learning never stops so make sure you set some goals everyday towards something that will make you money for the time you spend online. IMO sticking with one project at a time helps as well.

I must admit to not sticking with my exercise routine lately and now it's starting to show
